Testimonials

What people are saying

852.png

"We have done this race on 2 occasions and genuinely cannot praise the organisers and staff enough! The race itself is certainly no walk in the park :), but when you realise what goes into making this one of the best events, you enjoy the home cooked dinner, G&T and massages at the end of each day even more. From pick-up to drop-off, you know what the plan is every step of the way. The team talk you through the navigation in detail, and since you are tracked, even when you feel less than sure about the self-navigation, you're at ease knowing they have "eyes on you". And if all else fails, the sweepers have radios and regular radio check-ins to ensure everyone is accounted for. The crew support on the course is magnificent, always encouraging and providing guidance where needed (even when they won't show you the way :P). Even on super slow & long days, they're there, encouraging all the way to the day's finish line. The briefings / debriefings are one of many highlights, reflecting on the day & looking ahead to what is to come. After a hard day of being out on the course, you get to have a shower....in the middle of the wilderness....after the crew tended to it all day to ensure that we can HOT showers! You can't help but to be excited for getting started on the next day, despite the sore muscles. And to boot, you'll be part of the fortunate few who gets to experience wilderness and landscapes like no other!"
